What is missfit productions? missfit productions is a producing energy that will support emerging artists to get their creative ideas and new work off the ground, by holding events, such as Write Side of the Brain (which aims to create theatre/ performance art/poetry pieces in the same venue and on the same night) and DYS(the)LEXI (celebrating dyslexics). The objective is to create an experience for all types of performance and to introduce performance art to a new audience. missfit productions believes that new writing consists of every new idea and we are keen to work with visual writers as well as traditional ones. We believe that new writing is just having a new conceit, a new idea. We welcome new ideas and want to work with people who want to break the boundaries. Whether you consider yourself a visual artist or a theatre practitoner, missfit productions will provide as much support as is required to produce your event within your budget.

Poets, solo artist, live performance artists, visual artists, actors, writers, puppeteers, filmmakers, theatre companies, and creatives, in general. We are highly selective of the individuals and companies we work with, and we make sure that the work we produce is of the highest quality by way of a rigorous propsal and submission process.
